Manhunt Monday - Hilton Hopkinson and Jessica Pinzon













On June 29, 2010, police say Hilton Hopkinson and an accomplice, Jessica Pinzon, were part of a gang related homicide in Hollywood, California. Hopkinson fired multiple rounds into a passing vehicle driven by the victim. As the victim drove away Hopkinson kept firing, narrowly missing three other occupants of the vehicle. The victim died from his injuries, and Hopkinson and Pinzon are currently wanted for Murder.

Hilton Hopkinson is a Hispanic male adult, 18 years of age, standing 6'1" tall and weighing approximately 190 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He sometimes goes by the street name “El Demente.” Police say Hopkinson is a member of a violent California street gang who call themselves “Mara Salvatrucha” or “MS-13".

Jessica Pinzon is a Hispanic female adult, 31 years of age, standing 4'11" tall and weighing approximately 170 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. She sometimes goes by the street names “Dreamer” and "L.A. Dreamer”, and has a tattoo on the back, left side, of her neck.












Police say both Hopkinson and Pinzon are known to be in the Las Vegas area. They should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. June First Tuesday: Gangs

The LVMPD Gang Crimes Bureau invites the public to come to the June 1st First Tuesday program to learn more about gang-related issues. Information will include gang statistics, how the Bureau is structured, how gang members are identified, and what the community can do to prevent gang activity.

The LVMPD First Tuesday program is an open house style event that takes place on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. During the First Tuesday program the public is invited to come to any area command, meet the officers who protect their neighborhoods, and learn about the various aspects of policing.

Learn about Gangs

Is your child involved in a gang? Do you know the warning signs? The LVMPD invites the public to attend “Our Children and Gangs,” an informational summit on gang activities. The event will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at Desert Breeze Community Center at 8275 Spring Mountain Road.
This event was developed to better address the increase of gang activity within EAC and to better equip all citizens with a general working knowledge of what the gang culture is all about in Clark County.
This event is comprehensive as there will be two presentations taking place simultaneously to effectively impact each audience. In the gym at Desert Breeze Community Center there will a presentation for all parents/guardians, teachers/administrators, counselors, social workers, law enforcement and community
social organizations and members.
The second room will hold all attending middle & high school students with a tailor made presentation for them.
Both presentations will have the following law enforcement agencies present; LVMPD COP & Gang Crime Bureau, Clark Co. School PD & Clark Co. Park PD, NV DPS Parole & Probation, Clark Co Juvenile Justice P & P and Gang Task Force.
