Manhunt Monday - Sergio Orozco

Sergio Aleman Orozco

On September 15 , 2003, Las Vegas Metro Police say Sergio Aleman Orozco kidnaped and sexually assaulted a young girl who was walking near a school in the Southeast part of Las Vegas. Based on his most recent crime Sergio Aleman Orozco is wanted for:

• Sexual assault – victim under 16, and
• First degree kidnaping.

Sergio Aleman Orozco is a hispanic male adult, 52 years of age, standing 5'8" tall and weighing approximately 210 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He sometimes changes the order of his names, and has previously used the name Orozco Aleman Sergio. Orozco’s last known address was in the 2900 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North in North Las Vegas. He sometimes works as a landscaper, and may have previously owned small landscaping businesses.

 

Orozco is a registered sex offender, with a prior arrest record for:

• Battery with intent to commit sexual assault, and
• Open and gross lewdness.

Manhunt Monday - Rick Ballard

Most “Manhunt Monday” subjects are wanted criminals who have already committed crimes within Metro’s jurisdiction. This weeks subject is a known criminal from outside of Nevada, who has, again, returned to our area.

Rick Ballard is a wanted person, and Metro wants to return him to California on those warrants before he has the opportunity to offend within our community.

Ballard is a white male adult, 49 years of age, standing 5'7" tall and weighing approximately 272 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes.

He sometimes uses the names of:

• Richard Oliver Ballard,
• Rick Albert Ballar,
• Rickey Allen Ballare,
• Rickey Michael Deancelo,
• Rickey Deancelo, and
• Richard Allen Rowe.

Metro Police say Ballard is a convicted sex offender from the State of California who is currently wanted for parole violation. In 2008 he was arrested in Las Vegas as a “Fugitive from Justice” on the same charge, and Metro has information he has once again returned to the Southern Nevada area.

In 2008 Ballard resided in the 3700 block of Swenson Street, but he could be anywhere.

Manhunt Monday: Terry Lee Mendes

Terry Lee Mendes is a convicted Tier II offender who is required to update his address with Nevada authorities. He has failed to comply with this requirement, and is currently wanted on a felony warrant for:
• Failure to change address by a sex offender.

Mendes’ criminal history includes:
• Numerous arrests for being a sex offender and failing to change address,
• Burglary, and
• Possession of stolen property,

Mendes is a white male adult, 49 years of age, standing 5'11" tall and weighing approximately 180 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos’s including:
• A bulldog on his left shoulder blade,
• A tweety-bird on his left shoulder blade,
• A Tasmanian devil on his right shoulder blade,
• A bull on his left bicep, and
• Cherries on his right shoulder

Mendes sometimes spells his last name “Mendez”. His last known address was
