Metro Encourages Participation in Nevada Child Seekers’ Dash and Stroll

On Saturday, March 13, 2010, Nevada Child Seekers will host its 16th Annual Dash and Stroll—Race 4 Kids.

Metro employees have formed several teams in support of the event, including team ICARE headed by Sheriff Gillespie. “Nevada Child Seekers is an important resource for our community,” says Sheriff Gillespie. “I’m proud that so many of our employees have volunteered their time for this event. This is something our community needs to support.”
Nevada Child Seekers is a nonprofit organization. Its mission is to advocate for and engage in prevention, identification and location efforts on behalf of missing and exploited children.
The Dash and Stroll will take place at The District at Green Valley Parkway & 215.
Registration opens at 6:00 a.m. The 5K begins at 7:45 a.m.
