Children of Las Vegas Celebrated at New Festival

The following is a news release from the LVMPD:

The Las Vegas Walk of Stars, Clark County Nevada, and the LVMPD-Hispanic American Resource Team (HART) are sponsoring the first annual Las Vegas Children’s Festival.

The event will be held at Molasky Park located at 1065 E. Twain on Saturday, April 24th, 2010, from the hours 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM.

The Las Vegas Children’s Festival will celebrate the Day of the Children which is recognized by many nations throughout the world. The event celebrates Day of the Children to honor and celebrate children who represent the hope and dreams of the future. Also, this event will help local children to be motivated, continue their education, and prosper in their life endeavors. There will be gifts, books, entertainment, live music, food and drinks (while they last), and much more.

LVMPD invites you and your family to attend this free event and co-mingle with the many organizations and Metro officers who take pride in honoring and assisting children.
