During the holiday season Metro police officers host numerous charitable programs to benefit the community. To help fund those community-based programs, Metro officers are teaming up with the Macaroni Grill for “Mac & Metro.”
On Friday, September 25 , the Macaroni Grill on Lake Mead and Rainbow will host a fundraiser th to benefit Friends of Metro, a non-profit organization that supports the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department by providing funds, training resources, and support not otherwise covered through the customary budget process.
Specifically, money raised at Mac & Metro will be used to support upcoming child-based community events like Metro’s Trunk-or-Treat and Santa Cops. During Mac & Metro, LVMPD officers will volunteer their time to collect donations at the restaurant; they will even help serve food for an extra tip.
The media and the public are invited to attend Mac & Metro.
