As we do every October, Crime Tracker 3 spends some of our time helping parents and kids get ready for Halloween. Earlier this week, Crime Tracker 3 producer Eric Wiener interviewed Metro PIO Bill Cassell. He had some great information on Halloween safety, from picking the right light-source for a child to carry, to picking the right mask.
Metro's Convetion Center and Southeast Area Commands will hold a "Trunk or Treat" Safe Halloween event, from 5pm to 7pm. We asked Officer Cassell about the quality of the candy available for kids, and he says he's seen it and it is "good candy."
