Wash a car, remember an officer

On Saturday, October 17th, local members of the "Police Unity Tour" will be washing cars at Saturn of Henderson (Valley Auto Mall 310 N. Gibson Rd.) to raise money for the 2010 Tour.
The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial & Museum.
In 2010, riders from both southern and northern Nevada will be riding for Officers James Manor and Milburn Beitel whose names will be placed on the wall in Washington D.C. during National Law Enforcement Week. Each rider needs to raise $1700 in order to participate in the tour.
The car wash fund raiser will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m.
Please come out and support the riders who have made the commitment to ride from New Jersey to Washington D.C. in support of their fallen brothers.
The motto for the Unity Tour is “We ride for those who died.”
