Metro seeks help finding robbery suspects

The following is a news release from the LVMPD:

On March 9, 2010, at approximately 10:15 p.m. a male victim called the L.V.M.P.D. Dispatch Center to report he was the victim of a robbery which had just occurred at 150 South Jones Boulevard, near the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Edgewood Ave.
Arriving patrol officers and medical personnel located the victim, who had visible trauma to his face. The victim reported two (2) black male adults had approached him from behind and struck him multiple times in the head and face, knocking him to the ground. The suspects then demanded the victim’s money. Upon learning the victim did not possess any money or valuables, the suspects fled the area on foot.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries, which included multiple facial fractures, a broken nose and a laceration over his left eye.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 is a black male adult, approximately 20-25 years of age, standing 5'9'’ to 6'0'’ tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Suspect #2 is also a black male adult, approximately 20-25 years of age, standing 5'9'’ to 6'0'’ tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Additionally, this suspect had sideburns which extended along the jaw line, and came together on the chin.
